Why we train the conversation and the tools together

On a live ticket, an agent listens to the customer and works the tool at the same time. If training covers only one of those, the first time a new agent does both is with a real customer.

Solidroad is the AI training platform for CX, sales and enablement teams. In a Simulation, the Learner works the case in a System simulation while the conversation runs: they look up the order, check ID and enter the refund with the customer still waiting on a reply.

One Scorecard grades both halves: how the Learner handled the customer, and whether the data they entered in the tool is accurate. AI coaching follows every attempt, so Learners know what to fix before they try again. When a policy changes, trainers update the Simulation and the next attempt runs on the new rule.

Which one fits your team

Solidroad and SymTrain both train customer-facing teams. Which one fits depends on who builds your training and what your agents need to practice.

Choose Solidroad if

  • You want AI customers that take open-ended paths and respond to whatever the Learner says.

  • You want each attempt scored against your own Scorecard, with AI coaching straight after.

  • You want Learners to practice in fully working replicas of your own software.

  • Your trainers want to build Simulations themselves, from your knowledge base or a prompt.

Choose SymTrain if

  • You run a contact center of 200 or more agents and want simulations built from your recorded calls.

  • You need SCORM export, or simulations inside your QA and performance tools.

  • You run Five9 or Verint and want a vendor listed on its marketplace.

Switching from SymTrain

What carries over and what to set up.

  • Start from your knowledge base. Connect Guru, Confluence, Notion, Intercom or Zendesk, or upload your own material, and build Simulations from the policies your agents follow. A prompt works too.

  • Bring your tools across. Solidroad produces dynamic, sandboxed, fully working replicas of the software your agents use. Learners practice in them alongside the AI customer, so they learn the tool and the conversation together.

  • Map your courses to Assignments. An Assignment packages Simulations with a passing score and Certification, and syncs with your LMS, so Learners keep training where they already do.

  • Try it on one team. Sign up for a trial workspace, build a Simulation from one of your own articles, and compare it with what your agents practice now.
